Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture toddlers’ growth and encourage exploration.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on early childhood education and development.
• Support toddlers with activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety guidelines.
• Engage children through play, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences tailored to their developmental needs.
• Monitor children’s behavior and provide positive guidance to foster good conduct and social skills.
• Help with diapering, feeding, nap time routines, and other caregiving duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents about children’s progress and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with young children
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavior management effectively.
• Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and classroom safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
