POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Director supports the administrative and operational leadership of the Promise Road Campus Weekday Ministries, working in close partnership with the Director to serve students, families, teachers, and staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Student Support
- Oversee student discipline, attendance, and events in consultation with the Director.
- Lead the delivery of student support services.
- Support implementation of State of Indiana Registered Ministries guidelines.
- Facilitate restorative conflict resolution processes.
- Develop relationships with students and parents in order to field questions and concerns.
Program Development
- Support teachers in creating and refining annual work plans as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely program reporting.
- Ensure teachers have the supplies and resources needed to support student learning.
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and attend programs and events in alignment with the school’s mission and goals with the Director.
- Plan and lead staff meetings with Director.
- Conduct tours for new and current families.
- Maintain the social media presence of WDM.
Operations
- Uphold and apply policies and procedures related to student and personnel matters.
- Develop and implement operational procedures in collaboration with the Director.
- Serve as the school’s acting representative in the Director’s absence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email; willingness to learn Brightwheel parent communication software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in childcare, preschool, or a related field.
- A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related teaching field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
