Job Description:
The Assistant Manager – Procurement will support and manage the end-to-end procurement process for hard services, ensuring timely sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and compliance with organizational policies. The role requires hands-on experience in RFQs, tendering, system implementation, and working knowledge of procurement ERPs such as SAP, GEP, JD Edwards, and MIS. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, service providers, and suppliers to drive efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement activities related to
Hard Services
, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, civil, and maintenance-related materials and service contracts.

Prepare, float, and evaluate
RFQs
(Request for Quotation), including bid comparison, cost analysis, and recommendation reports.

Support strategic sourcing initiatives and drive cost reduction without compromising quality or contractual requirements.

Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and performance metrics.

Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers and contractors.

Oversee the procurement documentation process—Purchase Orders (POs), Service Agreements, Contract Renewals, and Variation Orders.

Ensure timely project and site mobilization through effective coordination with operations and engineering teams.

Maintain and update procurement records and dashboards, and ensure accurate reporting through
MIS tools

Contribute to and support
Procurement System Implementation
or process improvement initiatives across the organization.

Ensure procurement operations comply with company policies, audit requirements, and governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of
Hard Services procurement
in Facilities Management, Construction, or Engineering sectors.

Industry Experience: Facility Mangement

Hands-on experience working with
ERP & procurement platforms
such as:

Proven ability to manage
RFQ processes
