We are seeking an experienced Assistant Procurement Manager to support procurement activities across multiple business functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, procurement governance, and driving cost-effective purchasing solutions while ensuring service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with operational and business requirements.

Manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct supplier sourcing, market research, supplier evaluations, and benchmarking activities.

Assist with commercial negotiations, contract administration, and supplier performance management.

Oversee day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring timely processing of purchase requests and purchase orders.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver effective sourcing solutions.

Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and service standards.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.

Support risk management initiatives relating to suppliers, contracts, and supply chain continuity.

Contribute to spend analysis, cost-saving initiatives, and procurement reporting.

Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, systems, and efficiencies.

Support the implementation and utilisation of procurement technologies and digital platforms.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.

Experience within one or more of the following sectors is preferred:

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.

Good understanding of the UAE supplier market.

Experience using ERP systems; Oracle Procurement experience is advantageous.

Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
