Assistant Product Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and technical Assistant Product Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between stakeholder needs and engineering execution, specifically focusing on Edge AI, Intelligent Transportation, Railways Digitalization, and Safe City initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in technology and a proven track record of managing complex product backlogs and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Backlog Management

  • Translate complex stakeholder needs into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the engineering team understands the strategic "Why" behind every feature.
  • Coordinate between Hardware, Software, and Civil Engineering teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.

Market Intelligence & Digitalization Trends

  • Monitor the competitive landscape for innovations in Edge AI, Smart Cities, and Railways.
  • Analyze deployment data to identify bottlenecks and suggest Digital Twin or automation improvements.
  • Conduct user research and site visits to evaluate current processes and the way forward.

Product Lifecycle & Execution

  • Assist in Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for new hardware launches, such as LIDAR sensors and AI-based ANPR cameras.
  • Work with Quality Assurance (QA) to validate that field execution matches the intended design.
  • Support sales and bidding teams by creating technical presentations, datasheets, and compliance matrices.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management.
  • Education: BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related technical role.
  • Industry: Prior experience within the technology sector is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs130,000.00 per month
