Job Description

The United Arab Emirates University invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Health and Physical Education (male/female). Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Health and Physical Education or a closely related field (e.g., sport pedagogy, sport science, coaching, sport management). A strong background in teaching both theoretical and practical courses at undergraduate and graduate levels is essential, with the ability to lead instruction in areas such as invasion games, track and field, and aerobic fitness considered a significant asset. Experience in supervising student teachers or practicum students, along with providing effective, constructive feedback, is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to have an established research profile with published research in refereed journals, demonstrate teaching effectiveness, contribute to curriculum development, and actively promote the growth and mission of the UAE University. Minimum Qualification

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the applicable field. The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses is a must. Industrial and professional experience is a plus. English is the language of instruction and communication.

Preferred Qualification

A record of peer-reviewed publications, with evidence of producing Q1 journal articles in the field of health and physical education or related areas.
