• BTech, MTech in Computer Science and Engineering.
• PhD Completed with 0 to 10 yrs of experience
• 2. Associate Professors
• PhD in Computer Science and Engineering Completed atleast three years before.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience post Ph D.
• Publications more than 20

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS

• Academics
• · Responsible for all the academic affairs of the Department which includes ensuring student learning through research led teaching, developing and updating course curriculum, performing evaluations &reviewing of modules and programs in addition to introduction of new courses.
• · Looking after the day-to-day activities related to the preparation of workload of teaching and non-teaching staff in the form of academic time table and the functioning of non-teaching staff of the department.
• Administration
• · Participates in departmental faculty meetings and participates / serves in departmental administrative positions and committees.
• · Represents his/her School and reports to the Dean regarding all the requirements of his/her School such as Faculty Member, supporting staff, students’ equipments, books & journals, Infrastructure planning and maintenance etc.
• Internship & Industrial Liaoning
• · Supervise on-site clinical, internship, observation, field experience and similar settings as per the requirement of the course for the students within the school
• · Responsible for innovative programs including interaction and collaboration with other advanced institutions, Universities and different industries.
• · Coordinates with the industries for providing vocational training courses to students.
• · Arranges guest lectures, workshops, seminars, industrial visits & educational tours for students.
• Sports and Extra Curricular Activities
• · Encouraging and participating in sports and other activities organized at School/University/National level also ensuring the engagement of students and other faculty members in all such activities and maintaining record of all activities
• Mentor – Mentee Program
• · Drive the Mentor – Mentee program within the School
• · Be available to the students via email, phone, or personal conferences. The method of contact and hours of availability should be clearly communicated to students in a friendly manner.
• Placement
• · Responsible for all the activities relating to the student’s placement.
• · Coordinates with the different industries for on-campus and off-campus interviews of the meritorious students for providing suitable jobs in their organizations.
• · Responsible for interaction with different industries and other institutions for functioning of EDPs
• Admission
• · To take an active interest and participate in the admissions process as per the requirement.
• · To supervise & ensure that enquiries from applicants and prospective applicants are dealt with in a timely and informative manner.
• · To monitor and review the admissions policy and procedures for student selection to ensure that they comply with University policy.
• IQAC
• · Supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education imparted within the department and maintain record as per the requirement of IQAC of all such activities.

Research

• · To pursue, develop and lead research, innovation and impact at an appropriately benchmarked level.
• · To develop the strategic direction within our own research area.
• · Looks after the matter related to R & D, Consultancy, research proposal of interest, Research Publications
• · To appropriately supervise the students undertaking research projects.

General

• · To contribute to the development and achievement of University, faculty strategy within the context of an international, research led university
• · To maintain scholarly activity and keep up to date with developments in the field as necessary to carry out the duties of the post
• · To participate in other duties assigned by the University from time to time
• · To ensure the friendly and comfortable environment to the students to excel them in their overall development
• · To ensure that the functioning of the School be conducted as per the ordinance and regulations of the university
• · To stay updated of current rules and regulations and advice from various education bodies or government

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
