Assistant Professor in Content Creation & Social Media Management

Job Title: Assistant Prof. Content Creation & Social Media Management Staff Member

Position Type: Assistant Prof.

Full-time Academic

Required Qualifications:

A Ph. D holder in Content Creation and Social Media Management

Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on industry experience in content creation and social media management including:

- Social media content creation & management —ideation, scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and performance analysis.

- Media production for digital/social platforms — especially short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), static & motion graphics, live content, and interactive formats.

(TOT) from a recognized platform (e.g., Adobe Education Exchange, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera) — strongly preferred if supporting student/staff workshops.

Expected Experience:

Proven ability to independently produce high-impact content across multiple formats and platforms:

Digital/social assets: adverts, posters, flyers, banners, infographics, social carousels, Stories, Reels, TikToks

On-ground visuals: billboards, event backdrops, exhibition materials, branded merchandise concepts

Digital interfaces: website content modules, app screen prototypes, email templates

Hands-on experience with visual branding execution — maintaining consistency in typography, color, tone, and style across channels.

Direct experience using industry-standard software and tools, including:

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator) in addition to AI-powered media tools.

Additional Expectations:

Ability to collaborate with faculty and academic staff to translate complex ideas (e.g., research outputs, program features) into accessible, engaging digital content
