Job Description

Abu Dhabi University is seeking a dynamic and academically driven Assistant Professor in Public Relations and Advertising to join the University's academic team. This full time faculty position is pivotal in delivering high quality teaching and learning in areas such as public relations, advertising strategies, brand communication, digital media campaigns, and related communication disciplines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses using both theoretical and practical approaches, preparing and updating course materials, assessing student performance, and supervising applied projects to ensure the achievement of program learning outcomes.

  • Contribute to curriculum development.
  • Support continuous program improvement.
  • Align course content with current industry trends and international academic standards.
  • Engage students through innovative teaching methods and real world applications.
Qualifications
  • Relevant doctoral degree.
  • Strong teaching experience.
  • Active research, scholarly publications, or creative industry related outputs.
  • Experience in academic advising, departmental service, and collaboration with industry partners.
  • Background in public relations, advertising, strategic communication, brand management, digital media, or related fields.
