Qualifications and Experience
- Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD) with a specialization in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from a well-reputed university
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in psychiatric and mental health nursing practice
- Record of, or potential for, scholarly contributions (publications, research funding, presentations)
- Graduate of accredited universities that use the credit hour system, with English as the medium of instruction
- Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience
- Experience in supervising student projects and thesis dissertations
- Proficient use of educational technologies (presentations, e-learning systems, and academic reporting tools)
- Preference will be given to candidates with strong research output and relevant industry or clinical experience in mental health care
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver courses in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, in alignment with the University’s three core standards: Teaching, Research, and Service
- Evaluate and monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support student success
- Research, organize, and manage instructional resources, course outlines, and community networks
- Identify and apply effective teaching methods, procedures, and resources to achieve course objectives
- Support and actively participate in accreditation and quality assurance initiatives
