Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Teach lecture and laboratory courses in the areas of Biochemistry and General Chemistry.
2. Contribute to various committees at the Program, College, and University level.
3. Contribute to the research profile of College via establishment of research program and research publications.
4. Contribute in developing new curricula and research areas;
5. Other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Medicinal Chemistry (Chemistry background) from a recognized/ranked university.
2. Teaching experience in both theory and laboratory classes for at least 3 years after the PhD.
3. Experience with classroom implementation of student centered pedagogies including use of advanced technology in teaching.
4. Adequate research and publication record and ability to attract external and internal funding.
5. Commitment to work with teams.
6. Awareness of working with people from diverse backgrounds.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and ability to communicate in Arabic is an advantage.

6. Copy of (all degrees’ certificate including the transcripts) highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed. However, if no course work was completed, a copy of the certificate letter from the registrar of highest credential granting institution regarding highest academic degree).
7. Any additional documentation deemed relevant to the application.
