Job Summary:
This position will be based in the greater Fort Collins area. The faculty member will participate in the overall activities of the Section of Neonatology, such that the highest standards of patient and family care, staff education, fellowship training and individual research are maintained. This person is also responsible for effective interface with other programs and the community as well as aligning and carrying out Section goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of rules, regulations and standards of care relating to professional activities within the newborn units. This responsibility includes the establishment of the appropriate mechanisms to ensure that these rules, regulations and standards are adhered to.
The skill and ability to assure the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care services provided within the different clinical services.
The ability to actively participate in the direct patient care of high-risk newborns.
The ability to actively participate in all academic activities of the Section
The skill and ability to ensure education of the highest quality of pediatric housestaff, medical students, fellows, private physicians in the management of high-risk newborns.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $220,000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
