Riphah International University seeks a dedicated Assistant Professor Cyber Security to join its academic team. The successful candidate holds a PhD in Cyber Security from an HEC recognized institute and brings expertise in network security and cryptography. This role demands a strong focus on educating students in security protocols, ethical hacking, and cyber threat intelligence. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions on network security, cryptography, cyber threat intelligence, and ethical hacking.
• Conduct original research on cyber security threats and countermeasures, publish papers in reputed journals, and present findings at academic conferences.
• Design and assess assignments, examinations, and projects to evaluate student knowledge and practical skills in security protocols and risk management.
• Guide and mentor students in their academic progress and research endeavors related to cyber security topics.
• Stay current with advances in cyber security technologies, emerging threats, and protocols to update course content and research focus.
• Collaborate with academic peers to enhance curriculum development and contribute to the universitys strategic goals in cyber security education.
• Participate in departmental meetings and committees to support academic policies and initiatives.
• Provide expertise in cyber security risk assessment and management to assist in creating a secure university IT environment.
• Engage in community outreach or industry partnerships to promote awareness and develop practical applications of cyber security research.
• Ensure compliance with academic standards and HEC regulations related to teaching and research.
