Assistant Professor of English Literature

Job Requirement:

• Ph.D. in English Literature only from a HEC recognized university / institution. Must have publications in a HEC recognized journal.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet annual targets assigned by the HoD.
• To work to appropriate targets as set by the Dean/Director of University to secure a high-quality teaching and learning environment for students.
• To teach assigned courses as per faculty workload policy.
• To develop learning materials, prepare schemes of work and maintain records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
• Contributes to the development of module information packs, assignments and examination questions. As well as assessing students’ progress and providing feedback.
• Continue to develop your own teaching and learning skills and contribute to the planning of teaching programs.
• Employ innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning during the lessons.
• Liaise and maintain good relationships with academic colleagues and colleagues in practice.

• Faculty members with a strong citation index and publications in high-impact factor journals, who have completed their PhD from QS Top-300 ranked global universities, may be considered for additional compensation and accelerated career progression, in accordance with university policies.
