Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the person assuming this position will be teaching graduate classes in leadership and/or research, mentoring students, conducting research, publishing in professional journals, serving on various committees, and assuming responsibility for helping to develop and maintain quality curriculum and instruction and doctoral programs in the School of Leadership, Research, and Psychology. An additional role will be serving as the Department Chair. Additionally, the successful candidate will also be expected to serve on doctoral committees, support the assignment of dissertation committees, and perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of the CEAH and the Chair of the School of Leadership, Research, and Psychology.
Qualifications
The candidate must have an earned doctoral degree in Leadership and/or Research or other research-related field. Area of specialization should complement leadership for Higher Education settings. Teaching experience at the post-secondary level and evidence of research productivity are required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching leadership courses, research methods, and educational research writing courses. Evidence of supporting students through the dissertation process is also essential.
Salary
Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
