The Assistant Professor will be instrumental in delivering well-structured courses by creating and updating curricula that align with contemporary academic guidelines and industry demands. Responsibilities also include supervising student research projects, internships, and fostering the integration of quantitative and qualitative research methods. This position requires active participation in academic committees, faculty development programs, and workshops to promote continuous professional growth. The role supports the universitys mission to provide a rigorous and innovation-driven academic environment. Although this position does not involve team management responsibilities, collaboration across departments and contribution to the academic community remain vital components of the role.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, and Statistics that meet academic standards and industry relevance.
• Develop, revise, and update course materials and curricula in accordance with HEC guidelines and institutional policies to maintain academic rigor and currency.
• Conduct original research, analyze data using statistical software such as SPSS, R, or SAS, and publish results in peer-reviewed journals with high impact factors.
• Supervise student-led research projects, theses, and internships, providing scholarly guidance and ensuring research quality.
• Participate actively in curriculum development committees and contribute meaningful recommendations to enhance program offerings.
• Offer academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their academic progress, career planning, and professional development.
• Contribute to accreditation, assessment, and quality assurance processes by providing data, documentation, and insights.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending and conducting academic workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs.
• Utilize educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS) and authoring tools to create interactive learning experiences.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals to secure funding for research initiatives and academic projects.
• Employ effective presentation skills and multimedia design (including PowerPoint and SCORM-compliant content) to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Integrate quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to support comprehensive and interdisciplinary study approaches.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster a collegial and productive academic atmosphere.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in business analytics education and research to continuously improve teaching practices and research output.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and ethical standards in all educational and research activities.
