Assistant Professor - Social Studies curricula and teaching methods
1. Faculty members are expected to provide up-to-date reports involving teaching activities and student advising as assigned by the department
2. Faculty members will be responsible for course development and participate in curriculum and program development
3. Meet all instructional and advising responsibilities as specified in the policies and procedures (refer to Part-4 within this handbook)
4. Participate in scholarly and research activities which enhance their professional development and contribute to their discipline
5. Serve as appropriate in the department, college and university committees
6. Provide professional services to the University and community
Qualifications
1. Doctorate in Education/ - Social Studies curricula and teaching methods.
2. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with demonstrated evidence of
effective teaching skills.
3. Effective ICT skills.
4. Academic and professional record including publications.

3. A valid copy of ID card and passport.
4. Academic qualifications (Bachelor's - Diploma - Doctorate).
5. Copies of transcripts for PhD and Master's degrees (certified if possible).

7. A letter indicating current academic rank/promotion letter.
8. Promotion letter of academic degree from the educational institution.
9. Three references, at least, including contact numbers and email addresses.
10. A statement of interest to join Qatar University, outlining the candidate's motivation and plan for the first year.
