We are seeking a motivated and qualified Assistant Professor to join a reputable higher education institution in Saudi Arabia within the Support Studies division. The role involves contributing to teaching, curriculum development, and academic support across Computer Science, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based courses, along with engaging in research and student mentorship.
- Deliver undergraduate lectures and learning sessions in Computer Science, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based courses
- Prepare and update course materials, assessments, and learning outcomes
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of support studies programs
- Supervise student projects and academic assignments
- Engage in research activities and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Support academic advising and student mentorship
- Participate in accreditation, quality assurance, and program review processes
- Contribute to departmental meetings, committees, and institutional initiatives
- Promote interdisciplinary learning and applied skill development
- PhD in Computer Science, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of higher education teaching and/or research experience preferred
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and publication
- Ability or willingness to teach across interdisciplinary support studies courses
- Strong communication and teaching skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Commitment to student-centered teaching and academic development
- Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia are preferred
