Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

Position Overview:

TRUE Builders LLC is seeking a motivated, organized Assistant Project Manager who will serve as the bridge between our Field Operations and Office Operations. By covering traditional project management tasks and administrative functions across the business, this opportunity will help the employee develop into a full-fledged Commercial Construction Project Manager through training, mentorship, and practice.

Qualifications/Traits of Ideal Candidate:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or related concentration OR applicable experience (target 2-6 years) within construction field. Opportunity is good for recent college graduates in applicable vocations or someone early in a career who has worked in another construction role.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the scope of each project and determine detailed steps (permits, approvals, pricing, procurement, timelines, budgets, cost estimations, risk assessments, resource allocation, etc.) for each stage of completion.
  • Develop comprehensive and competitive bid proposals reflecting project specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze project progress, expenses, and deviations. Ensure adherence to timelines/budgets, and identify opportunities for efficiency/savings.
  • Regularly enter data and update process steps into the Company construction management software system.
  • Create and complete forms, correspondence, contracts, bids, and other Office Operations documents and distribute information through professional communication (mail, email, phone, presentations, reports).
  • Complete training and mentoring steps as assigned by CEO/President (and monitored by Operations Coordinator and Field Superintendent) to sustain steady growth toward a Project Manager role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
