We are a commercial casework and millwork contractor based in Northern Connecticut. Our shop uses state-of-the-art CNC equipment to fabricate products. We service most of New England in various industries, including Medical, Dental, Office, Retail, and More.
Overview: Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Project Manager & Estimator of Commercial Millwork. In this position, you will drive projects from start to finish, managing various details along the way. The ideal fit is a self-starter with a strong drive to do better every day and an exceptional attention to detail. We value a good attitude over experience.
Our team is growing fast, and there is a lot of potential for future advancement within the company. This position will promote to a senior level project management position.
Duties:
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all work meets quality standards, stays within budget, and adheres to established timelines.
- Maintain and update schedules for shop drawings, material procurement, production, and delivery to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate with contractors to align timelines, oversee submittals for materials and hardware, and review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor overall project progress, identifying and addressing issues to maintain momentum and avoid delays.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for architects, general contractors, and subcontractors, providing consistent updates and fostering clear communication.
- Conduct field measurements to verify dimensions and ensure proper fit and installation of millwork components.
- Collaborate with field coordinators and installation teams to establish layouts, confirm measurements, and communicate project scope effectively.
Skills:
- Knowledge of the commercial architectural millwork industry. (Or general commercial construction project management experience)
- High level of proficiency with computers and project management software, enabling efficient coordination of multiple projects.
- Ability to handle several large-scale projects at the same time.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management abilities, with a consistent record of meeting deadlines.
Experience:
- Commercial Construction Management 2+ Years
- Millwork-specific experience preferred

Pay: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
