Assistant Project Superintendent

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Project Superintendent to support onsite construction activities for low-rise, wood frame multifamily projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position while ensuring schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain schedule adherence
• Monitor work for quality, safety, and compliance with plans/specs
• Help maintain site documentation, including daily journals, inspections and RFIs
• Support project planning and sequencing of construction activities
• Troubleshoot onsite issues and escalate as needed to the Superintendent

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of the in-house Project Engineer (PE) program; or successful completion of an apprenticeship in trades or a cooperative education service such as BOCES; or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in the construction industry, required.
• Experience with low-rise, wood frame multifamily projects, required.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications, required.
• Construction software, preferred.
• Various Field Trade Role knowledge, required.
• Scheduling, design specifications, drawings and documents required.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, required.
