Job Duties

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support our property management team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations, maintaining tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in real estate administration, property leasing, and customer service to contribute to a dynamic property management environment. The Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in supporting property maintenance, lease administration, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Answer phones
  • Investigate and help to resolve tenant complaints
  • Placing and tracking completion of work orders
  • Enforce property/company rules and regulations
  • Create 3-day notices, invoices and tenant notices
  • Rent collections
  • Prepare leases and amendments
  • Deposit checks / accounts receivables and maintain deposit log
  • Process invoices / accounts payables
  • Clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, etc...
  • Maintain marketing postings and assist in creating marketing material
  • Maintain tenant contact information
  • Analyze contracts and proposals, meeting with vendors as needed
  • Assist in other projects and day-to-day activities for the property manager

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in property management is a plus
  • Must be punctual
  • Great social skills, ability to build rapport with tenants
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical skills are essential, including proficiency ins MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), and AppFolio software
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid California driver’s license and insurance are required
  • No Criminal Record

Job Details and benefits - This is a Full-Time position that includes benefits such as, Medical, Dental and Vision Plans, paid time off (Vacation and sick), free weekends, and off on all major holidays.
