About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager supports all leasing and resident relations activities on behalf of property owners, working under the direction of the Property Manager. This role is responsible for identifying prospective residents, maintaining high occupancy, ensuring resident satisfaction, and meeting rent collection and financial goals.

What Will I Do?

  • Show available apartments and homes, greet and qualify prospects, and follow up through phone, email, text, and social media outreach
  • Process leases, applications, and all required administrative forms accurately and on time
  • Explain lease terms to new and existing residents and provide clear, thoughtful answers to questions
  • Deliver quality customer service throughout the entire resident lifecycle - before, during, and after lease signing
  • Support resident retention through ongoing programs, events, and community engagement
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming office, model units, amenity areas, and community spaces
  • Assist the Property Manager in meeting occupancy, rent collection, and financial objectives


Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a multi-family Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager role
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with property management software; experience with Entrata or AppFolio preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required
