Job Description:
Florido Enterprises Property Management is seeking a motivated, self-driven, and professional Property Management Assistant to support our Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of a commercial real estate portfolio. Responsibilities:
Daily duties:
- Check AppFolio daily for all payments and work orders; respond and coordinate with Property Manager and maintenance team on turnaround times
- Update listings daily across social media, Craigslist, and leasing listings sheet
- Ensure all rents, late fees, and check charges are collected, posted, and deposited in a timely manner; update rent Google Sheet daily
- Maintain and update vacant unit sheet and lead sheet daily
- Call and schedule all leads for showings with the Property Manager; send vacancy postings from AppFolio
- Answer incoming calls, greet all visitors entering the building
- Review daily conference room scheduling via Nexudus
- Distribute incoming mail

Additional responsibilities:
- Provide consistent vendor and contractor communications regarding scheduling, billing, and certificates of insurance
- Confirm all leases and paperwork are completed and accurately entered into AppFolio and Google Drive in a timely manner
- Handle tenant concerns and requests promptly to ensure tenant satisfaction
- Ensure current tenant files are properly maintained
- Assist with move-in and move-out inspections
- Review notices to vacate and send acknowledgements with instructions
- Ensure distribution of all company and tenant notices
- Maintain a positive customer service attitude at all times
- Attend scheduled company and team meetings
- Support the Property Manager in coordinating and performing office functions
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills — written and verbal (required)
- Computer savvy — comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe, and ChatGPT (required)
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software preferred
- Willingness to learn social media platforms and content creation
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Prior experience in property management or real estate a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean criminal history; drug-free workplace; background check required
