Assistant Property Manager

Duties

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of residential properties, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
• Handle leasing activities such as showing units, upselling amenities or services, and negotiating lease agreements
• Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and legal administrative documentation related to tenant files and contracts
• Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management tasks to ensure properties are well-maintained
• Provide excellent customer service through phone etiquette, conflict management, and resolving resident concerns promptly

Skills

• Proficiency with Appfolio & Asana
• Experience in real estate administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, contract management, and legal documentation
• Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Ability to negotiate lease terms effectively while adhering to legal standards
• Conflict resolution skills combined with professional phone etiquette for handling resident inquiries or disputes
• Familiarity with property leasing processes, property maintenance coordination, facilities management practices, and upselling opportunities
