The Fairfield County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Prosecutor position in the Adult Felony Division. The position offers the opportunity to partner with police agencies to investigate and prosecute high-profile felony cases, as well as significant courtroom exposure, and will include motion practice, trials, and appeals.

Duties

The primary duties for this position include advising police agencies on criminal investigations, rendering charging decisions, and directing the litigation of criminal prosecutions. Candidate must exhibit a strong work ethic, dedication to seeking justice and maintaining public safety, and adherence to the highest professional standards.
