Profile: Assistant purchase manager
Experience: 4yrs +
Salary Range: 25k-35k
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement for civil & infrastructure projects.
- Develop & manage reliable vendors/suppliers.
- Compare quotations, negotiate prices & finalize contracts.
- Ensure timely supply of materials, machinery & services to sites.
- Maintain purchase records, contracts & vendor agreements.
- Coordinate with project managers & site teams for requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance & resolve supply issues.
- Follow company procurement policies & budget guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s / PMP is a plus).
- Experience in managing medium to large projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, contracts & planning tools (MS Project / Primavera).
- Strong negotiation, communication & coordination skills.
