Job Purpose:
To ensure the smooth procurement of goods and materials for the Mart Division, maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely availability of stock as per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute purchase strategies in coordination with category and store operations teams.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team for replenishment.
- Prepare purchase orders, GRNs, and related documentation in ERP.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards in all procurement activities.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the Purchase Manager in budgeting and procurement planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, or similar).
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
