Job Description
- Inspections and testing:Perform and witness inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, blueprints, and codes.
- Documentation:Maintain detailed records of all inspection activities, prepare daily and weekly reports, and document any non-conformances or deviations.
- Verification:Review material submittals, shop drawings, and inspection and test plans to ensure all work is performed according to the approved quality standards.
- Coordination:Liaise with the site construction engineers, contractors, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and ensure smooth project progression.
- Reporting:Generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) when work does not meet standards and assist in developing corrective actions.
- Code and safety compliance:Ensure all work adheres to the relevant national and local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
