Assistant Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

JOB SUMMARY:

Function as Quality Inspector for the TK liner and coating plant activities

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY

• Perform verification/calibration of testing and measuring equipment, perform inspection and tests and quality processes monitoring to meet customer requirements and operational application and record results.
• Perform all inspection duties outlined in the Job instruction for the relevant projects.
• Review and implement the quality related checks outlined in the job instructions.
• Assist in the pipe tally and ensure that the measurements are correctly made and recorded.
• Ensure conformity to SOP guidelines or customer specification in all operational
• Communicate with operators during production process as necessary.
• Report any discrepancies though NCR forms and submitted to Quality supervisor.
• Follow all the Company HSEMS, QMS, policies and procedures.
• Check and report non-conformity to his supervisor and assure correct action are implemented as notified.
• Review daily quality forms submitted by operators as necessary.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT:

• To follow the NOV HSE policy and procedures, safe system of work, local requirements.
• Use properly and maintain the tools and personal protective equipment provided by the company.
• Report unsafe acts & conditions, workplace incident to the supervisors & HSE dept.
• Follow instruction from supervisors. If in doubt, ask questions. Never commence work without ensuring that work can be done safely. Strictly observe “permit to work system”
• Know emergency procedures (Emergency Numbers, Assembly point etc.)
• Attend Toolbox talks, HSE training and HSE meetings.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

Essential :

• Minimum Technical Diploma
• 2-3 years' experience in similar work environment
