Job Overview:

As an Assistant Relationship Manager – Assets at Emirates NBD, your role is to support Asset related activities of the assigned portfolio

Key Responsibilities:

Support Asset related activities of the assigned portfolio covering the following aspects:

  • Handle NTB/ENH & annual renewal of credit facilities comprising of the following activities:
  • Liaising with RMs & clients for required information/ documents to initiate the credit approval process.
  • Preparation of credit proposals in line with customer requirements & policies of the bank (capturing updated business model (if any), financial analysis with details of key changes, compliance of approval terms & covenants, analysis of account conduct, AECB, group conduct etc
Undertaking the facility documentation (involving following up for CRAD for facility letter, confirming draft letters & ensuring that the facility documentation is released to the clients. To follow up with clients for signoff, co-ordinate to lodge the signed documents back to CRAD, ensure completion of relevant security creation & completion of limit activation process (FRS).

To handle the working capital facility transaction referrals (by addressing TFS/Factoring/LBD referral points, liaising with clients/internal operations units for any additional information/ clarification, raising suitable requests to RM for the deviations with suitable justifications, convey the approvals to respective internal stakeholders for onward processing of transactions post approval)

  • Handle the allocated portfolio monitoring activities including the following:
  • Regular follow up on monthly/ quarterly covenants & submit for approvals to RM/Credit
Diarize and monitor the insurance, Valuation, Mortgage expiries pertaining to assigned Asset portfolio (approach the clients for submission of renewed documents & lodge with CRAD for perfection)

  • Handle any system migration related data inputs as may be required from time to time (i.e. nCino and any other system migrations)
  • Provide MIS and performance reports on the above activities within timelines agreed with business unit in UAE.

Skills and Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate – preferably business / Finance / accounting
  • 3-5 years of banking – preferably in SME/ Corporate with understanding on Credit & Risk parameters
  • Knowledge of banking products, services & credit systems
  • Ability to undertake financial analysis & identify risks in credit proposals
  • UAE National with a Family Book
