Assistant Resident Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure

Al Sultan Engineering Consultants is hiring an Assistant Resident Engineer to support our ongoing roads and infrastructure projects in Ajman.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising site works (earthworks, asphalt, concrete, drainage, utilities).
• Review contractor submittals, drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with local authorities for approvals and permits.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure QA/QC, HSE, and compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor progress, review variation orders, and support project reporting.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and site staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of UAE experience in roads & infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards (AASHTO, ASTM, BS, and UAE codes).
• Experience dealing with authorities for NOCs and permits.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
