Assistant Restaurant Manager

Position Overview


RIKAS Hospitality Group is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our new festive dining concept. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and smooth operational flow in a vibrant, high-energy environment.


This role requires a hands-on leader with strong hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced festive atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities


Operations Management

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient floor operations during lunch, dinner, and high-volume service periods.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation, and guest experience.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure all brand standards are consistently implemented.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.


Team Leadership & Training

  • Supervise and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding hospitality.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training team members.
  • Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational updates clearly.
  • Monitor staff performance, grooming, punctuality, and discipline.
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented working environment.


Guest Experience

  • Build strong relationships with guests and create memorable dining experiences.
  • Ensure a warm, engaging, and festive atmosphere throughout service.
  • Anticipate guest needs and maintain a high level of attention to detail.


Financial & Administrative Support

  • Assist in achieving revenue targets and operational KPIs.
  • Support scheduling, labor control, and productivity management.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate operational requirements with relevant departments.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and POS procedures are followed.


Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational organization across all restaurant areas.
  • Ensure adherence to RIKAS Group policies and operational procedures.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within upscale, lifestyle, or festive dining concepts.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience managing high-volume operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.


Preferred Profile

  • Energetic, charismatic, and service-oriented personality.
  • Strong understanding of festive dining and entertainment-driven hospitality concepts.
  • Ability to lead by example and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Well-presented with excellent attention to detail.
