an Assistant Restaurant Sales Manager at Treehouse Silicon Valley, you’ll play a key role in supporting
the restaurant sales function while gaining hands-on exposure to strategy, client relationships, and event
execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Support
  • Assist the Restaurant Sales Manager in managing existing accounts and prospecting new
business to achieve revenue goals.
  • Support the development and execution of action plans for target accounts and special initiatives.
  • Help analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to support strategic
decision-making.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, community partners, and professional associations to
support visibility and market share.

Event Planning & Coordination
  • Support the planning and execution of restaurant buyouts, group dining, and special events.
  • Assist with site visits, pre-planning visits, pre-con, and post-con meetings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), group resumes,
rooming lists, and event changes.
  • Communicate detailed event information to operations teams, including F&B needs, room setups,
décor, AV requirements, and billing details.

Revenue Optimization
  • Assist with upselling food, beverage, and experiential enhancements throughout the planning
process to maximize profitability.
  • Support the evaluation of revenue potential for clients and events in alignment with hotel goals.
  • Assist with reviewing client bills to ensure accuracy and timeliness, supporting repeat business
and client satisfaction.

Culinary & Service Collaboration
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and elevated service
standards.
  • Assist in the development, design, and implementation of custom menus in collaboration with
culinary leadership.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of restaurant operations, menu offerings, room capacities, and
event setups.

Administrative & Project Support
  • Support contractual communication related to meeting space, food and beverage minimums, and
concessions.
  • Assist with assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered with attention to
detail and quality.
  • Maintain organized records and sales documentation to support department efficiency and
reporting.

About you...
Passionate about food & beverage and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience.
A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
Advanced knowledge of food & beverage operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest
and team member engagement and financial performance.
Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
