Assistant Rotary Technician – Job Summary

Primary Purpose

• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Support installation, repair, and overhauling in field and workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand job requirements and work safely in running plants.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oil flushing.
• Dismantle, service, assemble, and test rotating equipment.
• Assist in equipment alignment and soft foot correction.
• Prepare tools, tackles, and measuring instruments for maintenance.
• Use proper tools in hazardous/online maintenance areas.
• Maintain good housekeeping after job completion.

Education

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Technology (recognized institution).

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in refinery/petrochemical plant.
• Hands-on experience in overhauling and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Skilled in hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.

Age Limit

• Not over 45 years old.
