Assistant Safety Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Safety Officer to join our team. You will play a critical role in maintaining a culture of safety by implementing health and safety protocols, conducting rigorous inspections, and ensuring every team member return home safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain comprehensive HSE standards across all worksites.
• Conduct frequent site safety inspections and detailed risk assessments to mitigate hazards.
• Ensure all operations strictly adhere to UAE safety regulations and internal company policies.
• Lead engaging toolbox talks and provide ongoing safety training to site personnel.
• Investigate all site incidents or near-misses, providing thorough root-cause analysis and reporting.
• Monitor the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce best safety practices.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of Experience as an Assistant Safety Officer role, with a strong preference for Construction or Fit-out sectors.
• Relevant safety certification (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred)
• Deep understanding of local safety laws and procedural implementation.
• Ability to handle site safety independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
