Position: Lead Luxury Stylist/Assistant Sales Director

Reports To: Sales Director & COO

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in leading a sales team.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and strategize business growth.
  • Strong awareness of relevant brands, luxury products, and lifestyle trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced retail environment.

Job Statement

The Lead Luxury Stylist/Assistant Sales Director is responsible for embodying the Ambiance Mission Statement: to be the number one choice among retailers for our core customer. This multifaceted role involves leadership, collaboration, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Manage, motivate, and inspire the sales team to exceed goals.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new employees to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and coach team members, providing timely and specific feedback to foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and growth.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, consistently upholding company values and aesthetic.
  • Encourage adaptability and positively implement change to align with company goals.

Customer Experience

  • Cultivate an environment of genuine customer connection with engaging, personalized experiences.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer care, ensuring every interaction is memorable.
  • Grow the client base by building and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Foster loyalty and retention by delivering exceptional service.

Sales and Strategy

  • Utilize reporting systems to track, analyze, and strategize business growth.
  • Exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales expectations.
  • Organize and implement sales directives, brand awareness initiatives, and contests to drive sales goals by Department, Class, and Sales (DCS).
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the Buying Team on best/worst sellers and market trends.

Operational Excellence

  • Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence.
  • Train the team on the use of Heartland POS, LP controls, and daily store standards.
  • Effectively delegate and guide the team, empowering them to make impactful decisions.

Marketing and Events

  • Collaborate with the Sales Director and Buyer to market, promote, and educate employees and customers.
  • Engage with the local community through events and social media initiatives.
  • Support the execution of in-store marketing events and experiences.

Measurements of Success

  • Achieving and exceeding sales goals (overall and by associate).
  • Growth in units per transaction and dollars per transaction metrics.
  • Expansion and retention of the customer database.
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
