Job Description:
Sky Ocean Shipping is a global logistics and freight forwarding company with operations across the Middle East, Asia, and the USA. We are currently hiring an Assistant Sales Manager to support our backend sales operations from Malappuram, India. The ideal candidate will assist in business development, client coordination, and sales support activities related to freight forwarding (air & ocean).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the regional sales teams
• Assist in lead generation, preparing quotes, proposals, and follow-ups.
• Maintain communication with clients and internal departments for smooth execution.
• Analyze sales data and support reporting for various regional offices.
• Coordinate backend tasks including CRM updates and documentation.
• Stay updated on logistics trends, freight rates, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding sales management
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to support multiple regions across time zones.
• Knowledge of air and ocean freight, INCOTERMS, and basic shipping documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Malappuram.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with international clients or multi-country logistics operations.
• Familiarity with customs, export-import regulations, and freight platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
