Job Description:
Apex Gulf Trading L.L.C is looking for a Assistant Sales & Procurement Engineer to support the Sales & Procurement division in handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and sourcing technical products from suppliers. The role will involve working closely with senior engineers to manage procurement and sales of various industrial and engineering product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling customer inquiries and preparing quotations.
• Support sourcing of products from local and international suppliers.
• Communicate with suppliers for pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Assist in preparing technical submittals and documentation.
• Coordinate with logistics, suppliers, and customers for order processing.
• Maintain records of quotations, purchase orders, and supplier information.

Product Categories (Key Focus):
The role will involve working with various industrial and engineering products including:

• Instrumentation & Process Control Equipment
• Pressure, Temperature, Level & Flow Measurement Devices
• Industrial Valves & Fittings
• Electrical & Automation Components
• Pumps, Compressors & Mechanical Equipment
• Industrial Tools and Maintenance Equipment
• Oil & Gas / Industrial Process Equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of UAE work experience in sales, procurement, or an engineering trading company
• Basic understanding of technical specifications and datasheets
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred:

• Experience working in an industrial trading or engineering supply company
• Familiarity with supplier sourcing and quotation preparation
