DDP Roofing Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Assistant Service Coordinator to join our growing team. Under the supervision of the Service Manager and Service Support Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting the Service Department by coordinating service calls, dispatching technicians, maintaining communication with customers and vendors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
- Answer and respond promptly to customer phone calls and emails with professionalism and urgency
- Schedule and dispatch Service Technicians to customer work orders
- Maintain accurate service department documentation including time records, job logs, reports, and customer communications
- Support after-hours response processes and assist technicians and employees as needed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, employees, vendors, and management
- Maintain positive customer relationships and uphold DDP Roofing’s reputation for quality service
- Assist with processing service call documentation to support payroll and accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service department standards
- Coordinate with administrative departments including Accounting and Human Resources
- Help identify and resolve customer service or operational issues in a timely manner
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or service coordination preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to remain professional and calm in a fast-paced environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in person
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry office materials up to 15–20 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, filing, and data entry
- Ability to move throughout the office as needed during the workday
- Must be able to maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced office environment
