The Parts Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales operations of the parts division, ensuring consistent growth in sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The role involves setting sales goals, developing strategic plans, monitoring performance, and building strong relationships with customers and business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Operations Management:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company’s market presence and achieve sales targets.
- Set daily objectives, coach, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Analyse sales reports to maintain gross profit.
- Coordinate closely with Purchase, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure availability and timely delivery of parts.
- Establish and review pricing structures, discounts, and promotional offers in coordination with management.
- Ensure high-quality service standards across all sales channels (B2B and B2C).
Reporting & Planning:
- Prepare monthly sales and present key performance insights to management.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Marketing teams to align inventory, promotions, and campaigns.
- Contribute to the annual budget planning and control expenses within approved limits.
Customer & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Follow up on quotations, feedback, and potential leads to maximize sales conversion.
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction and loyalty through professional service and support.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Train and mentor sales team members to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
- Monitor team performance and ensure individual and departmental goals are achieved.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a results-driven culture within the department.
Financial & Risk Management:
- Support in managing credit control and collection of overdue accounts.
- Handle sales returns, warranty claims, and replacements with proper documentation and customer care.
- Ensure all department assets, tools, and systems are adequately maintained for smooth operations.
Export / Wholesale Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in export and wholesale markets.
- Protect proprietary company data and supplier information.
