About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Store Keeper to support our inventory and store operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient handling, storage, and distribution of food and non-food supplies while maintaining strict hygiene and stock control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock and deliveries
  • Properly store food items, dry goods, and catering materials in line with company standards
  • Issue stock to kitchen and operational teams based on approved requisitions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers or systems
  • Assist in routine stock counts and monthly inventory audits
  • Ensure proper labeling, arrangement, and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) stock rotation
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hygiene standards in storage areas
  • Report shortages, damages, expired, or irregular stock to the Store Keeper/Management
  • Assist in loading and unloading of materials when required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a catering, hotel, or food service environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit and capable of handling store materials
  • Honest, reliable, and a strong team player
