Assistant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. This role is essential in promoting early childhood education and ensuring that each child receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive.

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and curriculum development tailored to the needs of students.
• Provide supervision and support to children during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
• Facilitate small group activities focused on literacy education, math, and other subjects to enhance children's learning experiences.
• Support children with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum, by adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Help organize classroom materials and resources to create an inviting learning space.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education and childhood development.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or daycare settings is required.
• Background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents to foster a supportive educational environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building relationships with children.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
• High school diploma or G.E.D certificate
