Assistant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide support across various classrooms, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. You will assist lead teachers in implementing educational activities and behavior management strategies, fostering a love for learning among our students. Duties

• Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson planning.
• Assist with behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students.
• Engage children in educational activities that enhance literacy and math skills.
• Provide individualized attention to students, helping them with their learning needs.
• Facilitate a variety of learning experiences that align with Montessori principles.
• Supervise children during playtime and transitions between activities to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare or working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or private school settings is a plus.
• Strong skills in literacy education, math concepts, and lesson planning are beneficial.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive atmosphere.
• Experience tutoring or educating young students will be advantageous.
• A passion for early childhood education and the ability to connect with children is essential.
