POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Tech Designer will support the Accessories Design team during all stages of the design process across the following categories: Men’s and Women’s Outlet bags, small leather goods, belts, caps and softs as well as Full Price Men’s and Women’s Caps and Softs.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:


Style Number Creation:
Work with the design team to create and mangage the style numbers in CFT shared doc and transfer to linesheets.


Linesheets:
Starting at co-creation and range plan share out, work with Design to create and maintain the bags, belts, slg, caps and softs linesheets at each stage of the design process in Miro


India PDA:
Partner with Design, Merch and PD to pass off accurate and up-to-date linesheets to India PDA team so India PDA can action the PLM style creation for all Outlet accessories styles and skus as well as Full Price Caps and Softs Styles and Skus


Color Cads:
Partner with the design team to support and facilitate the creation of color cads for necessary Outlet Bags, Belts, Slgs, Caps and Softs, as well as Full price Caps and Softs


Centric/PLM:
Manage and facilitate the Centric/PLM data input and uploading for all Outlet Bags, Belts, Slgs, Caps and Softs, as well as Full price Caps and Softs for the full product lifestyle (proto, CPV, SMS, Bulk)


Correction Specs:
Partner with Design to help create and mange the corrections specs for Outlet Bags, Belts, Slgs, Caps and Softs, as well as Full price Caps and Softs. Clearly communicate technical construction details and design intent through technical specs, photos and correction pages.


Prana:
Partner with Design and Studio Manager to facilitate the creation and/or uploading of images for Prana. Regularly check in with Merch and Studio managers to ensure Prana assets are updated and ready during go-to-market prep weeks


Visual Change Document:
Work with the Design and Merch teams to create the visual change document outlining all visuall changes related to the SMS samples in preparation for the Fullprice Global Market Launch


Standards, Details and Worksmanship :
Help maintain standards for detail execution and construction as defined by Design. Partner with PD to clearly communicate and correct standards and/or workmanship inaccuracies where applicable.


PD Communication:
Support design maintain daily communication with our PD partners in New York and Asia to resolve technical issues and make sure corrections are clearly communicated.

Workroom and Organization: Keep sample closets, material storage and presentations spaces organized and orderly


Design Support:
Assist designers with various tasks as needed- including meeting note taking during Proto 1, CPV and SMS sample reviews.


Pay Range:$59,000-$85,200

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
