Assistant Technical Manager

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced technical professional to join our Gyproc team as Assistant Manager – Technical for the Delhi region . This individual contributor role is responsible for delivering on-site technical support , enhancing contractor capabilities, and enabling successful project execution for drywall and non-drywall systems.

You’ll act as a key bridge between project teams, contractors, and sales , helping drive quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction in the rapidly growing construction market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to provide hands-on technical assistance and execution support.
• Manage contractor development and capability enhancement.
• Deliver product mock-ups, samples, technical solutions, and training at customer sites.
• Support the sales and key account teams in complaint resolution and technical clarifications.
• Drive field trainings and technical upskilling programs for installers.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and contribute to solution innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

• B.E. in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 6–8 years of experience in technical/project support roles in the construction/building materials industry.
• Sound knowledge of drywall systems , acoustics , fire safety , and engineering drawings .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence contractors and partners.
• Proactive, customer-first attitude with strong project management skills.
