Assistant Technician – Multiskilled Support

Job Purpose:

To provide general assistance and support to skilled technicians, including A/C technicians, electricians, painters, carpenters, and other tradesmen. The Assistant Technician will be responsible for helping in day-to-day maintenance tasks, carrying tools and materials, and performing basic repair and labor duties under supervision.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar assistant or helper role.
• Basic knowledge of general MEP, painting, or carpentry works.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple trades.
• Good attitude, teamwork spirit, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist A/C technicians with HVAC system installations, filter changes, ductwork support, and minor maintenance tasks.
• Support electricians in basic wiring, conduit installation, cable pulling, and tool handling.
• Help painters with surface preparation, masking, mixing paint, and cleaning after painting jobs.
• Aid carpenters in assembling, cutting, measuring, and installation tasks as required.
• Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area before and after the job.
• Follow instructions given by senior technicians and supervisors.
• Ensure safe handling and usage of tools and materials.
• Report any observed faults or issues to the respective technician.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
• Perform other general maintenance or support tasks as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1,600.00 per month
