Job Overview
The Assistant to the General Manager will serve as a key liaison between management, operations, sales, customer service, and warehouse teams. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Duties
- Support the General Manager with daily operational and administrative activities.
- Coordinate communication and follow-up between departments and warehouse locations.
- Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and business presentations.
- Track customer issues, escalations, and project progress to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with contract management, vendor communications, and customer onboarding.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items.
- Monitor project timelines and follow up on assigned tasks.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and business analysis projects.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and SOP documentation.
- Handle confidential business information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, executive assistance, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, or transportation is highly preferred.
- Bilingual English and Chinese is a must.
- Experience with WMS, TMS, CRM, or ERP systems.
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Customer-facing communication experience.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
