Assistant Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

We are looking for someone that can do 9:00 am-6:00 pm shift and has experience working in Childcare in the U.S.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various subjects.
  • Educate children on basic academic concepts, social skills, and emotional regulation.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles.
  • Proficient in behavior management techniques.
  • Experience in first aid and emergency response for children.
  • Background in childcare or caregiving settings, preferably with preschool-aged children.
  • Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a nanny or in similar roles is beneficial.
  • Ability to create engaging activities tailored to preschool students' interests and developmental stages.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

License/Certification:
