Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should have:
- A genuine interest in early childhood education and child development.

- First aid/CPR Certification for Adult, Child, and Infant with AED certification (to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
Responsibilities: As an Early Childhood Assistant, your duties will include:
- Participating in a thorough 2-day onsite orientation to familiarize yourself with our program.
- Creating a supportive and clean environment that promotes children's growth across emotional, social, and intellectual domains.
- Ensuring the classroom is organized and safe, with well-maintained equipment and materials.
- Engaging positively with children, parents, and fellow staff members, fostering effective communication.
- Assisting in implementing age-appropriate curriculum, activities, and lesson plans to support children's learning.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance, daily reports, food program records, and developmental progress.
- Supervising designated groups of children to ensure their well-being and safety.
- Collaborating with the Lead Teacher and support staff to maintain a cohesive learning environment.
- Contributing to mealtime routines and promoting healthy eating habits in a family-style setting.
- Demonstrating flexibility in tasks and assignments as required.
- Adhering to program policies, following procedures, and implementing safety protocols.
- Maintaining a professional appearance according to our program's dress code.
- Participating in annual professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assisting in orienting new staff members to ensure a smooth transition.
- Taking part in parent involvement events to strengthen community connections.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
